Sharon is a Design Consultant who has been with Pinnell’s Carpet One for over 18 years and in the flooring business for over 43 years. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts and began her career in the window covering field over thirty years ago. She specifically has many years of experience working with the Hunter Douglas window covering products. Sharon says that “making people love and feel happy about where they live is what it is all about in this business,” and that’s why she loves going to your homes and helping you see the difference that can be made with the right floor or window covering choices. Sharon also has extensive knowledge of custom-made draperies that can help you complete your home as well.

After attending The American Institute of Interior Design in Santa Cruz, Carrie worked for Cinderella Carpet One in Salinas for 14 years. She has worked with a few other flooring companies over the years and has returned to the Carpet One family. Shortly after moving to Tuolumne County and taking advantage of the quarantine, she spent a lot of time making jewelry and participating in local craft fairs and farmers' markets. Carrie enjoys spending time with loved ones and her three dogs in the pool. She is a huge fan of live, local music and line dancing. She has two daughters who continue to make her very proud. One of Carrie’s favorite things about working in the flooring industry is meeting her neighbors. She enjoys getting to know her customers and helping them make exciting flooring choices that they will love for years to come.

I got an interesting start in the flooring industry. I was pushing my young daughter in her stroller down Main Street in Angels Camp in May of 2000, when Dan Pinnell, the owner of Pinnell's Carpet One drove by he saw me and flipped a U-Turn, and stopped to talk to with me. He asked, "Do you want a job?" and the rest is history. I started out as an apprentice learning how to install carpet. Later in my journey, I became proficient at installing all of our hard surface products and even managed the Warehouse for 2 years. In April of 2016, I became the Manager of Pinnell's Carpet One, where I get to work with our awesome certified installers, professional sales team, incredible support staff, and our wonderful customers!

Dan is a third-generation flooring contractor, licensed in general construction, floor coverings, window coverings, and ceramic tile. He opened his first store in Angels Camp in 1975 and his second in Sonora in 2006. Dan's goal has always been “to build and maintain a business with a reputation for honesty, dependability, quality craftsmanship, and excellent customer service.”
