Dan is licensed in general construction, floor coverings, window coverings, and ceramic tile.

Dan is the owner and operator of Pinnell's Carpet One Floor & Home. He is a third-generation flooring contractor, with flooring being both his father's and his grandfather’s past livelihoods. Dan is licensed in general construction, floor coverings, window coverings, and ceramic tile. He opened his first store in Angels Camp in 1975 and his second Sonora store in 2006.

Dan states his main goal has always been “to build and maintain a business with a reputation for honesty, dependability, quality craftsmanship and excellent customer service”.  Dan feels he has achieved this goal and is proud of his company’s team.  Everyone at Pinnell’s Carpet One truly values their client’s satisfaction and they will do whatever it takes to make them happy.

Justin Gates, Operations Manager

I got an interesting start in the flooring industry. I was pushing my young daughter in her stroller down Main Street in Angels Camp in May of 2000, when Dan Pinnell, the owner of Pinnell's Carpet One drove by he saw me and flipped a U-Turn, and stopped to talk to with me. He asked, "Do you want a job?" and the rest is history. I started out as an apprentice learning how to install carpet.

Later in my journey, I became proficient at installing all of our hard surface products and even managed the Warehouse for 2 years. In April of 2016, I became the Manager of Pinnell's Carpet One where I get to work with our awesome Certified Installers, Professional Sales Team, Incredible support Staff, and our wonderful Customers!

Joe Hancock, Certified Sales Professional

Joe can help you with all your flooring covering needs, whether it is carpet, wood, laminate, vinyl or ceramic tile.

Joe has been with Pinnell’s for over 21 years. A resident of Calaveras County for over 25 years. Joe and his wife Colleen raised 2 sons and share a love for the outdoors.

Joe says that at Pinnell’s Carpet One, he looks forward to each day, knowing that each day will bring a new client with a new challenge. Jeff Yates, Certified Sales Professional/ Designer and Countertop Specialist

Jeff Yates has joined our staff with over 25 years of experience in the field of design and architecture and also specializes in the sales and fabrication of countertops from products such as Granite, Quartz, Corian, Formica, Marble Stone, and Cultured Marble.

Angela Yeadon, Certified Sales Professional/ Professional Interior Stylist

Angela is a long-time resident of Calaveras County. She holds an Interior Decorating Degree as well as her Associate in Arts Degree. Angela has enjoyed making people's spaces an extension of the people who live in them for over 15 years. She joined the Sales Professional Team here at Pinnell’s in 2020 and is enjoying working with the team and loves helping customers with their flooring needs. She is always ready to take on a new project and help clients make their flooring dreams a reality.

Sharon Parks, Certified Sales Professional / Design Consultant

Sharon is a Design Consultant who has been with Pinnell’s Carpet One for over 18 years and in the flooring business for over 43 years. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts and began her career in the window covering field over thirty years ago. She specifically has many years of experience working with the Hunter Douglas window covering products.

Sharon says that “making people love and feel happy about where they live is what it is all about in this business” and that’s why she loves going to your homes and helping you see the difference that can be made with the right floor or window covering choices. Sharon also has extensive knowledge of custom-made draperies that can help you complete your home as well.

My name is Erik Henderson. I have lived in Sonora since 1978. My father, Dan Henderson, taught at Curtis Creek and Sullivan Creek for 30 years and I graduated from Sonora High School in 1989 and served in the U.S. Army for 5 years. Some of my hobbies are prospecting for gold and fishing, and I am a huge Niners fan! I look forward to growing here at Pinnell's Carpet One and working with our community.
